Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant (ACCA) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The Accountant (ACCA) will play a critical role in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting decision-making processes for the business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP, etc.).
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Perform reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure timely filing of taxes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial audits and liaise with auditors.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, making recommendations for improvements.
- Provide support in financial planning and analysis for management.
- Stay updated with the latest accounting trends, practices, and tax laws.
Requirements:
- Qualification: ACCA (or equivalent) certification.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles (3 years of experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax laws.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
